About This Project
Prime Chuck Creative partnered with Gilleran Supply to bring some pizzazz to an annual Pep Boys promotion we named “Founders Days.” Focusing on in-store messaging with posters and displays, we set the tone for “21 days of deals, 93 years in the making.”
We created animated online banners utilizing the bold graphics of the posters. Given the timing of the promotion, we designed a direct mail Valentine’s Day card to be delivered to car owners, reminding them that if they love cars, they’re one of The Boys, too.
We have since concepted, written, and produced television for other Pep Boys promotional offers and have begun radio that will bring a new dimension to the Pep Boys brand.
Not all of our Pep Boys work has been promotional. To mark the opening of totally redesigned stores that introduced a new look for Pep Boys, we created a short film that was used internally to “rally the troops.” As the Dickies sang so eloquently, “Manny, Moe and Jack — they know what yer after!”
